The UP High Project (Added 12.09.11)

The UP high project will be an opportunity for young people from Oldham's diverse communities between the ages of 14 - 25yrs to try some adventurous activities including indoor & outdoor rock climbing, orienteering and hill walking, there will be an additional beginners classroom based theory session covering map and compass skills, navigation, clothing and equipment, safety in the hills, weather and useful information finding, accident and emergency procedures.

Participants attending 5 out of the 6 sessions will receive a Sportivate Health Card which allows discounts of up to 50% on selected sports, for six months across all OCL sports centres. They will also have the opportunity to join OCL for just £10 per months for three months.

6 sessions through September and early October Cost: £5 per family member or £10 for individual
