The ATS is the competitive training arm of Oldham's learn to swim programme, providing local swimmers with a structured pathway from the paddling pool to the international podium.

Oldham Aquatics make waves in Rotherham (September 2011)
Oldham Aquatics swimming team began the season in fine style with a fantastic display in the Rotherham Metro Grade A & B meeting at the weekend.
Under the watchful eye of ATS coach, Alana Buckley, the swimmers, ranging from 9 to 14 years recorded a total of 24 personal best times and brought home a total of eight medals, a fine start in a year that will see the sport lifted to new heights with the profile of the London Olympic Games.
Outstanding performers on the day were Rebecca Loft, Lauren Tindall, Lucy Ireland, Katie Smith and Adam Cocker on what was a fantastic day for the club and their achievements are testament to the hard work being put in by all of the swimmers and coaching team so early in the season.
The club have also been given a further boost for the upcoming season this week, following the appointment of new Head Coach Mark Lord, who will begin leading his new chargers as early as next week.
